[THE STORY.
INSPIRATION
GARAGE GAMER was inspired by the golden era of '90s gaming culture, the kids who spent entire summers inside garages and living rooms chasing high scores, finishing RPGs overnight at a friend's house, swapping consoles and game cartridges, and saving allowance money for the latest gaming accessories.
It is a tribute to the generation that grew up before online matchmaking, when multiplayer meant sitting shoulder-to-shoulder with your friends, arguing over controllers, memory cards, cheat codes, and whose turn was next.
LORE & BACKSTORY
GLITCH is the ANKOR pilot of the GARAGE GAMER set, the ultimate embodiment of a '90s kid completely consumed by gaming culture.
He spent countless nights glued to flickering screens, losing track of time as days bled into early mornings. Whether grinding through RPGs at a friend's house, mastering fighting game combos, or testing the newest accessories and consoles, gaming became more than a hobby, it became his identity.
His RIOT FRAME manifests as an amalgamation of retro gaming hardware and controller-inspired armor parts, built from the memories of countless hours spent gaming through childhood. GLITCH is instantly recognizable by the dark eyebags beneath his eyes, marks of sleepless gaming marathons, and his corrupted right pupil, which evolved into an adaptive Auto Aim Assist system capable of tracking targets with unnatural precision.
