Privacy Policy

Effective: May 20, 2026 / Compliant with PH Data Privacy Act of 2012

1. Information We Collect

Personal information you provide: When you place a pre-order, create an account, or subscribe to our mailing list, we collect your name, email address, phone number, billing address, and shipping address.

Automatically collected information: When you browse our site, we collect device type, browser type, IP address, operating system, referring URL, pages visited, time spent on pages, click behaviour, and scroll depth. This data is gathered through the tracking technologies described in Section 5 below.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:
• Process and fulfil pre-orders and purchases
• Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and authentication certificates
• Send marketing emails about new drops, restocks, and promotions (consent-based — you can unsubscribe at any time)
• Analyse site traffic and user behaviour to improve the shopping experience
• Measure advertising effectiveness and retarget visitors with relevant ads
• Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
• Comply with legal obligations under Philippine law

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only with the following categories of service providers, solely to operate our business:

Payment processors — to securely process transactions
Shipping carriers — to deliver your orders
Google (Analytics, Tag Manager, Search Console) — for site analytics and search performance
Microsoft (Clarity) — for session recordings and heatmaps
Meta (Pixels / Conversions API) — for ad measurement and retargeting
Klaviyo — for email marketing and subscriber management
Law enforcement — only when required by Philippine law, court order, or government regulation

4. Cookies & Similar Technologies

We use cookies, pixels, and local storage to operate the site and measure performance.

Essential cookies — Required for cart functionality, session management, and site security. These cannot be disabled.
Analytics cookies — Used by Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, session duration, bounce rate). Data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
Marketing cookies — Used by Meta Pixel and Klaviyo to track conversions, build audience segments, and deliver relevant advertisements. These are set only with your consent.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings. Disabling non-essential cookies may limit some site features.

5. Tracking Technologies We Use

Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
Collects anonymised usage data: page views, session duration, traffic sources, device/browser info, and user interactions. Data is processed by Google LLC. We have IP anonymisation enabled. Google may transfer data to servers in the United States under Standard Contractual Clauses.

Google Tag Manager (GTM)
A tag management system that loads and manages the other tracking scripts on this site. GTM itself does not collect personal data — it fires the tags described here based on rules we configure.

Google Search Console
Provides us with aggregated search performance data (impressions, clicks, average position) for our pages in Google Search. This tool does not collect or process personal visitor data — it reports on how our site appears in search results.

Microsoft Clarity
Records anonymised user sessions including mouse movements, clicks, and scrolls, and generates heatmaps. Clarity masks sensitive input fields by default. Session data is processed by Microsoft Corporation and may be stored in the United States.

Meta Pixel & Conversions API (CAPI)
Tracks visitor actions (page views, add-to-cart, purchases) to measure advertising performance on Facebook and Instagram, and to build retargeting audiences. The Pixel fires in the browser; CAPI sends server-side events for improved accuracy. Data is processed by Meta Platforms, Inc.

Klaviyo
Manages our email marketing. When you subscribe to our mailing list or place an order, your email, name, and purchase history are synced to Klaviyo for sending newsletters, drop announcements, and transactional emails. Klaviyo may also track email opens and link clicks. Data is processed by Klaviyo, Inc. in the United States.

6. Data Security

We protect your data with SSL/TLS encryption in transit, secure database storage, and access controls limited to authorised personnel. Payment information is processed by PCI-compliant payment processors — we do not store your full card details on our servers.

No system is 100% secure. We take commercially reasonable measures to protect your information, but cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Your Rights Under Philippine Law

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) and its Implementing Rules, you have the right to:

Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Correction — Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
Erasure — Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
Object — Object to processing of your data for direct marketing
Data portability — Receive your data in a structured, commonly used format
File a complaint — Lodge a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (NPC)

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@yugenlabs.shop. We will respond within 30 days.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfil the purposes described in this policy:

Account data — Retained while your account is active, and deleted upon request
Order records — Retained for 5 years for tax, accounting, and legal compliance
Marketing data — Retained until you unsubscribe, after which your email is suppressed (not deleted) to prevent re-subscription
Analytics data — Aggregated analytics data has no individual retention period as it is anonymised

9. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers (Google, Microsoft, Meta, Klaviyo) may process your data outside the Philippines, primarily in the United States. These transfers are made under Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards to ensure your data is protected to a standard comparable to Philippine data privacy law.

10. Children's Privacy

Our site is not intended for persons under 14 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@yugenlabs.shop and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to This Policy

The "Effective" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
